Suneel,
I find your recent piece about wearing a mask sort of funny because the photo of you shows you wearing sun glasses so we don’t see your eyes. So, what is the difference between now seeing your eyes, or not seeing your lips?
I also think that you are overstretching the point about masks. If washing our hands and wearing our masks for a time, no matter how long it may last, is a small price to pay for remaining virus free. While I, with some hearing impairment find it slightly difficult, I can always ask someone to speak louder but I can’t ask someone to take off their shades to see what their eyes tell me.
Sue, people typically do not wear sunglasses in a work environment or during social interactions unless they are outdoors and it is sunny….? Also, I did not get the message from this video that the doctor does not support wearing masks, but rather he is discussing one possible negative effect from the wearing of masks (there are plenty more, have you worn a mask for 12 hours straight?) and he hopes it is temporary (goodness, me too).
Hi Sue. Agree we need to look in each others’ eyes…but I am only wearing sunglasses for a fun photo! I don’t wear them during everyday interactions or at work. Really hope masks are a very temporary thing. As I said, it’s not how we are built to interact. Regards, Suneel
